About Kecs Foundation

The Kingsley Emmanuel Christopher Sweetwilliams Charity Foundation (KECS) is a registered non-profit and non-political organization based in Abuja, Nigeria. Established to address the pressing challenges of education, poverty, and social exclusion, the Foundation focuses on supporting underprivileged children, widows, and the elderly through scholarships, empowerment programs, and advocacy initiatives.

Governance & Legal Status

The Foundation is structured to uphold high standards of governance and transparency:

  • Registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Nigeria.
  • Led by a Chairman, Board of Trustees, and Executive Council.

  • Holds regular General, Annual, Executive, and Emergency meetings with clear quorums.
  • Financial operations are audited annually by independent auditors and reported to CAC.
